In 2009 one of those very rare moments in life accurred, a long time ambition came to fruition when I was offered
guardianship and operaters rights over this superb 1/6th scale live steam traction engine. This engine was built by Doug Boulter of New Milton
in 1985 and is not a model of any particular full size machine and is called a "Minnie". Having got the bug, Doug built over the next few years a
larger machine and "Margaret" as Doug named it remained largely unused for quite a few years. It was after Doug visited our open studio event
that we became friends and he offered me this fantastic opportunity. Although I have always had a great intrest in steam, I have very little knowledge
of operating such a machine so I have a steep learning curve to make so that I can present at shows next show season.
